We are a family of three, living in Wellington. We purchased this home just before the birth of our daughter, and have spent many fun-filled weekends and Christmas holidays here. We live within 25 minutes drive from the house on a small farm, and always love visiting the beach area.
Waikanae beach is a gorgeous, relaxed neighbourhood that is very well serviced by a couple of local stores/dairies, restaurants, bar, bakery and takeaways and parks. The natural beauty of the beach and riverside area make it an ideal place for a relaxed and fun holiday or weekend getaway and all of the above can be easily reached on foot from our house.
