Experience peace and tranquillity in our newly built "loft" apartment. Quiet rural location with picturesque views over open countryside. Sheep and cows grazing in the fields and a beautiful night sky can be viewed from the private 15 sqm deck. The apartment offers spacious modern living with full kitchen facilities and a queen bedroom. A sofa bed is provided for additional guests or children. A cot is available for infants. The apartment is 1.5km from the Great Taste cycle trail and 5kms from both Wakefield and Brightwater.
We have successfully hosted The Last Straw Cottage for several years and look forward to welcoming guests to our "Loft" apartment. Simon and Caroline are keen cyclists and hill walkers and have great knowledge of local trails. We have a 16 acre farm at the property grazing cattle (as well as rabbits and pukekos!).
The Loft is 1.5km from the Great Taste cycle trial. There are pubs, bakeries and cafes in both Wakefield and Brightwater worth exploring as well as some wineries that do tasting. The Loft is approx 40 minutes drive from The Abel Tasman National Park and approx 15 minutes to Mapua where there are several good restaurants, our favourite being The Apple Shed.
