Nestled within large private gardens in the picturesque lakeside village of Kinloch - Twynham is unequalled as a base for exploring the delights of the Taupo region. Golf, fishing, cycling, watersports (all five minute stroll), snow skiing, bush and mountain walks. The sunny north facing guest wing with private entrance, includes lounge and sunny deck. Hearty breakfasts, wholesome dinners and warm welcomes assure guests of an enjoyable stay. Paul is a New Zealand Kennel Club Judge and golf, music, travel and sports are family interests. We have one friendly dog Panzer. Laundry service and delicious home baking always available.
Paul and I have been residents in the village of Kinloch the last forty years and we have been hosting guests at TWYNHAM since 1996. We are keen travellers and Paul is an avid golfer.
The picturesque village of Kinloch, situated on the shore of Lake Taupo is nestled within rolling hills and native forests. The surroundings offer multiple experiences including, geothermal activity, trout fishing, hiking, water sports, cycling, 21 golf courses within an hours drive and just over 1hour 15 minutes to the volcanoes of Tongariro National Park.
