Please note: The Third bedroom is located up steep stairs that may not be suitable for some guests. While the home retains its original charm and is not modern, it is neat, clean, and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Please note there is no dishwasher, however guests can use the washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for longer or beach-filled stays. Outside, enjoy the private BBQ area and outdoor space, perfect for relaxed meals after a day at the beach. Outdoor parking is available on the property. Food & Dining Waikanae and nearby Paraparaumu have excellent local food options. Tutere Street’s local dairy offers hot takeaway food, sandwiches and essentials. Popular local restaurants include Long Beach Café for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; outdoor seating, and Hey Coastie Eatery (very popular with locals, open daily but not always for dinner). The Waikanae Bakery (Olde Beach Bakery) is a local favourite for fresh bread, pies, pastries and coffee. For craft beer and pub meals, Salt & Wood in Waikanae brews its own beer and is well worth a visit. Harrison Garden Centre at Peka Peka also has a café and gift shop. Outdoors, Walks & Biking The area is ideal for walking and cycling, with flat coastal paths, river walks, and quiet local streets.
