Container Stay has been made by a NZ professional tiny home builder based in the Gold Coast. It has been built to NZ code compliance standards and has used a single use container that has carried no toxic or dangerous goods. Mill Road offers visitors a quieter, more intimate slice of Taupō, far from the bustle, but close enough for easy access to cafes, hot pools, and hikes. Just a 10-minute drive from Taupō town, 5-minute drive to Taupō Airport and a direct 18 minute route to the Taupo Motorsport park. It's the perfect base for kayaking, fly-fishing on the Waitahanui River, or simply unwinding with a book on the deck. Whether you're here for sporting events, concerts, adventure or stillness, Mill Road is where tranquility meets natural beauty by the lake, which is an easy 3 minute walk away. Leah has worked for rich listers as a cook/companion for over 14 years, is an environmentalist and passionate cook. David has worked as a TV cameraman for Kids TV, a Kings Cross doorman in the 1980s, Bentley driver for a rich lister and a Sydney Airline courier. A finalist in the Wallace art awards 3 out of 5 years entered. A NZ table tennis age group champion and passionate Waitahanui local.
Waitahanui is one of the few Taupo neighbourhoods that has such easy access to Lake Taupo. It has a relaxed holiday feel to it, with the world famous trout fishing Waitahanui River is a 5 minute stroll down the street. The local supermarket is an easy 9 minute drive, Taupo Airport 7 minutes drive, The Landing with cafe, bar, laundromat, bowling alley etc. 6 minute drive. Downtown Taupo 15 minute drive.
