Takaka township is only 25 minutes away, on the way is The Mussel Inn and Pupu Springs. In town you can enjoy some retail therapy, cafes, and only minutes from other attractions like Anatoki Salmon. From Takaka a 10 minute drive can take you to the very popular golden sand beaches in Ligar Bay and Tata Beach. Pohara Beach also has cafes and a general store.
