We are delighted to welcome you to our special place in the Hokianga. A project that has been in the making since 2020 and will continue to be a work in progress as the gardens and trees grow and expand. We are so pleased to share this space with you and help to make your Hokianga experience one you will remember. Opening in December 2022, our vision was creating a lovely space for travelers to stop and experience the special character and beauty of the Hokianga area, the Waipoua Forest, west coast beaches and the people that call it home. Our guests have loved the peace and tranquility of Wisteria Way - we have loved creating the space and sharing it with travelers from far and wide - from all corners of Aotearoa and so many far away places around the world. We invite you to visit, sit in the garden, listen to the birds, enjoy the ever changing gardens and create a memory to treasure. We have 3 cottages available for guests - one with an ensuite and kitchenette and two with dedicated sperate bathrooms across a small courtyard. All cottages have use of the common room which has a full kitchen, dining area, lounge space, tv, games and books. .

Nestled in pretty cottage gardens and surrounded by the beautiful native bush and hills of Wekaweka and Waimamaku valleys, our cottages and little coffee, crafts & gift shop are just a few minutes drive from the Waipoua Forest, the majestic kauri tree - Tane Mahuta and the other unique attractions of Hokianga. After a day exploring or as you pass through on your travels, our rustic country style cottages provide a restful and unique place to stop for the night or longer. With meandering pathways through cottage gardens, our 3 private cottages are a quiet and restful place to stop for a night or for a while, gather with friends or family or prepare for the cycle climb into Waipoua Forest. Lavender Cottage has an ensuite and kitchenette, Camelia and Roses Cottages each have a separate bathroom across the courtyard which gives you a range of price options to choose from. Modern day technology is just a click away with t.v in all of the cottages and the common room and free wifi throughout so you can keep in touch and share your travel stories with friends and family. Wander through the gardens to the little shop, sit in the garden while you enjoy breakfast, sip on a morning coffee, listen to the tui and gaze upon the beautiful natural surrounds of the country setting. Heading north? Wisteria Way is just 10 minutes from the Hokianga Harbour and all it's attractions. Spend the day at the beach - then rest for the evening in the gentle touch of green bush, hills and countryside. Heading south ? Waipoua Forest is just up the road so stop and see the wonder of Tane Mahuta. Want to explore more of the Hokianga - book a couple of nights, relax and enjoy.
