1898 Casa and Restaurante a beautiful example of American Colonial Architecture common in the Philippines. It is in fact recognized by the National Historical Commission as a heritage house. Our Bed and Breakfast offers elegant-traditional and unique rooms through which to glimpse the past and unravel the mysteries of the eras with an advantage of having its own restaurant. There's a Free wifi available throughout the property. Each rooms are air conditioned and equipped with TV, en suite bathrooms come with hot shower, complimentary toiletries and free breakfast for two. . All the original magnificent wood carvings, capiz shell windows and hardwood floors have been retained to create a serene, relaxed ambience redolent of more gracious times. The property is located where the city hall, public plaza, church, famous restaurants are within reach - walking distance.

I love telling our guests about the history of Silay particularly our 1898 Casa and Restaurante (Generoso Gamboa heritage house) and the historical heritages houses nearby. 1898 Casa and Restaurante is a heritage listed building. Situated in the heart of Silay, (also known as the Little Paris of Negros). A five-minute walk to the big attractions such as: Balay Negrense Museum, Hofilena Museum, Green House or Balay Verde and the beautiful & unique San Diego Parish church. Explore the spanish type plaza with its spectacular lights. 1898 Casa and Restaurante is also a short 5-10 minutes drive to the Silay Airport.
