It was an amazing experience and one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The hotel has a brilliant layout, which is why it's never crowded and gives you a feeling of privacy and leisure luxury even when it's fully booked during the holiday season. The staff reacts to your requests immediately and in a very friendly manner. We booked all our activities with our concierge Jack who was extremely helpful. The territory is beautiful, including the beach, and the food is superb. The massage and SPA corner were a whole separate delight.

Amazing service, immaculately appointed rooms and facilities, attentive but not overbearing staff, perhaps the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Great art photography in room and around the hotel. Excellent huge gym well beyond ANY hotel gym I've been to in this price range. Strong wifi everywhere. Sauna which looked like a proper Finnish sauna, though didn't try. Big pool area. Nice looking spa, but didn't go. Everywhere was very clean. Big casino downstairs and a high-end shopping mall in the same complex with tons of excellent restaurants - I recommend Yeon Hwa for Korean barbecue where you don't have to cook yourself unless you insist - and a very cozy cinema with excellent seating. All major high fashion brands, though disappointingly poor watch selection. SM Seaview mall within 10-minute ride for more shopping, restaurants and cinema. You can pretty much spend a few days at or near the hotel and have everything you need.

Hidden Gem in Panglao – Super Relaxing & Friendly! My friends and I had such a great stay at Mayana Resort! If you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind while exploring Bohol, this is it. The location is quiet and relaxing, about 15 minutes from Alona Beach — far enough to avoid the noise but still close enough to get there easily by scooter or tricycle. We actually loved being away from the crowds and coming back to a calm, green oasis at the end of the day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with a cold drink and friendly smiles, and the service stayed consistently amazing throughout our stay. Big shoutout to Diana, who was always super helpful and professional, and to Anna at the bar and restaurant – she’s a gem! Our room was spacious, super clean, and really comfortable. Great bed, strong A/C, a nice modern bathroom, and even a balcony overlooking the pool. The little touches like a large safe (big enough for a laptop), fridge, and blackout curtains made a big difference. The pool was a favorite — clean, big enough to swim properly, and even has a deep end (over 7ft!). It's perfect for cooling off in the heat. Just watch the edges – they can be a bit rough, but it didn’t bother us. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and we ended up eating there most nights. They offer everything from Filipino dishes to Austrian options (yes, ostrich burger too!), and the staff were happy to accommodate special requests — like making a veggie curry or poached eggs even though they weren’t on the menu. Breakfast was tasty and filling, with several options to choose from. The coffee and fresh juice were a great way to start the day. And when we had to leave early one morning for diving, they packed us up a breakfast to go — such a thoughtful touch! They also rent out good scooters, which made getting around super easy. And if you don’t drive, the staff can quickly call a tricycle or taxi for you.

Hotel experience for a very reasonable price. Room is spacious. Bed is big and soft. Pillow is of good hotel quality. Wifi is descent. The water dispensers at every floor is an advantage too. Ladies at the reception always willing to help, very accomodating and informative. We complained on our first night as the room was smelly and the toilet is stinky, immediately they transferred us to a better room. Hotel is located near talipapa but no palengke smell. Hotel is also close to Roberto's, Fort San Pedro and just few minutes away from SM Delgado.

I really enjoy Boracay, and this year, the weather was perfect our entire stay. Plenty of good places to stay, and we enjoyed meals at some of our favorites - Bistro des Amis, TGH The Grill, and we added a new favorite - the restaurant at Casa Pilar, where we were treated to some really lovely live music. The only thing that could have been better, and this wasn't the fault of any business or facility on the island, but quite a bit of seaweed was in the water this year. Other than that, it was perfect.

Cebu city is a wonderful place.

Cebu city is a wonderful place. The only thing that make me sad is vicinity around sto niño basilica. Sana pagandahin, like uniform ang tindahan ng mga vendors, malinis, maayos at lagyan ng mga tinanim ang kapaligiran, so that pilgrims & visitors would have a wonderful memory about the place & the city. I was so happy that the day i'm wishing for... to visit again Sto Niño happened without a plan. Indeed Sto Niño is miraculous & great! He answered my prayers & I was able to bring again & present to him my daughter after 2 decades. Viva Señor Sto Niño!

Panglao is a very popular island as the beaches are world class. Alona was ok and there are loads load different options of restaurants and bars. Personally I liked Dumaluan beach as it is a bit quieter than Alona.

It is a perfect getaway to travel for leisure and vacation. Nice beaches. No traffic. Places for groceries, massage, laundry, restaurants ,shops are just around the corner and walking distance. You don't have to ride. Very convenient. I will definitely come back.

White sand beaches are small and not amazing.

White sand beaches are small and not amazing. Small area to swim at high tide and lots of sea grass. North eastern section has much nicer beaches with good snorkelling and diving but is remote from towns and eating out options. Waterfalls are beautiful. Need a scooter to get around.

The visit to Sumilon island was nice.

The visit to Sumilon island was nice. You can go there in the morning. Make sure to bring enough drinks and foods because there is no shop on than 8sland unless you book with Bluewater resort To get to the whale shark watching you have to get up very early, I recommend 4 a.m.

I was visiting someone and stayed at The Henry Resort. A very pleasant place to stay, when my friend was tied up with work, I went to nearby places. Siqijor Island, for example. I did not appreciate the other hotels in Dumaguete.

It is pretty congested and very noisy but this is to be expected from a place like this. The upside is everything is close and you can get over to Cebu city by ajitney motorbike quickly and cheaply not to mention you are actually walking distance to the airport so it is what it is but it being part of a large City these things are normal

I was introduced to iIoilo City 3 yrs ago and I don't regret...

I was introduced to iIoilo City 3 yrs ago and I don't regret it. The city of love is a proper name for it. The people and the environment are pleasant. There's plenty of taxis for easy transportation and good food, weather it be the commercial food chains, or the native cuisines and street foods with an array of fresh fruits. I feel welcomed and safe everytime I visit. On my next visit I plan to travel around the island a little bit more to get great photos of the architecture and I'll relocate to its neighboring Island of Guimaras when I retire in 5 years with my fiance who resides there.
