We are a small eco-lodge in General Luna, run by a husband and wife who moved to Siargao and never left. What began as a few nipa villas has grown slowly and carefully — always with the same heart. We do not rush things here. We build with care, we host with intention, and we try to make every stay feel personal. The Residence is our family home — built from reclaimed hardwood, three bedrooms, a private pool, and enough space for your whole group to breathe. It carries the warmth of the wood and the stories behind it. We are not a resort. We are a home that happens to welcome guests.

My name is Koys. I came to Siargao in 2015 for the surf and stayed because of the people. What was supposed to be a season turned into a life. After the pandemic, my wife Ingrid and I made a decision together — we would not go back to the life we had in Davao. We packed up, moved to Siargao, and started our family here. That was 2020, and we have never looked back. We now have two kids, Pio and Yasinta, both growing up with sand on their feet and salt in the air. We started Camanolo because we wanted to share what we love about this place — not the version you see in travel magazines, but the real one. The neighbors who greet you by name. The fisherman who brings the catch in the morning. The kind of quiet that actually lets you rest. Our team is small and tight-knit. Bryan, Marc, and the rest of the Camanolo family are people we trust deeply — not just employees, but part of the story. When you stay with us, you will feel that. Everything we do here, we try to do with intention — to serve well, to live honestly, and to take care of what has been entrusted to us. From here you can also island-hop to Naked Island, Daku, and Guyam. You can visit Magpupungko when the tide is low. You can do nothing at all and still feel like the day was full.
