Great stay. Quiet location away from the main road, very peaceful. Staff were extremely helpful and understanding with any requests. The room was beautiful and had a really nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Hayag is a restored heritage-style Filipino home in the heart of General Luna, Siargao. Designed with classic architecture and modern comforts, the property offers a calm and welcoming place to rest. Ideal for couples and mindful travelers, Hayag is tucked away from the main road yet close to surf spots, cafés, and the beach, offering a peaceful stay while staying connected to island life.
Hi! I'm Frenie, a hospitality professional and been an island resident since 2019. Hayag is my way of sharing the passion I’ve been cultivating here in the island by sharing warm Filipino hospitality. I created Hayag as a quiet home inspired by the light and rhythm of Siargao. Growing up with a love for Filipino heritage and mindful living, I wanted a place where guests could slow down, rest, and feel truly present. Every corner is designed with care, comfort, and intention, so you can feel at home while connecting with the island around you. I’m here if you need me, but mostly, I hope you simply enjoy the calm and gentle pace of Hayag.
Hayag is tucked in a quiet, welcoming corner of General Luna, where the island’s relaxed, creative energy comes alive. It is inside a quiet residential street, yet, just a short walk from surf spots, cafés and restaurants, island hopping station, the boulevard, and local markets, the neighborhood invites you to slow down, explore, and connect with Siargao’s authentic rhythm. Perfect for travelers who want calm, inspiration, and a touch of local vibrancy all in one.
