I enjoy traveling and interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds. That's precisely the reason I like hosting because it allows me to meet people from different walks of life and listen to their unique stories and experiences.
Cheene takes care of our property. We don't treat her as employee but hospitality partner. We inculcate in her a strong sense of ownership and true enough, she maintains the upkeep of the property and cares for our guests as major stakeholder. We are proud to have her with us.

Property info
The Living Room is a boutique guest house and an art space located on a hill. It has ample common areas with a landscaped garden. To integrate its surroundings to the overall property, the structure is designed as an open space allowing our guests to relax and enjoy the view outside. Ours is not a 5-star hotel and we don't pretend to be one either. However, our passion is to help our guests to have meaningful experience at The Living Room and in Siargao altogether.
For instance, we offer a Filipino 5-course Degustation dinner with wine pairing which you can pre-book along with other guests when you arrive. We call it "family" dinner which is unique in that not only are you able to experience part of the culinary aspect of our culture (Philippine fusion), you can also possibly gain new friends from different cultural backgrounds as you interact with others. Past guests have been raving about our dinner which we prepare with love and care. We believe this, among others, differentiates us from other resorts and hotels. We don't just provide accommodation. We offer you experience.
Neighborhood info
It's a quiet neighborhood. Adjacent to the property is a mini-forest and an apartment structure. The other side is a mini-farm. Located on a hill, The Living Room is isolated from the bustle of the town but it is very close and accessible to bars and restaurants.
