Our Hunters Lodge "Las Vegas" is located in a remote place surrounded by woods. Pines, hazelnut trees, birch trees, oaks, heathers and mushrooms in September, raspberries, blueberries, all sorts of herbs in Summer. Paradise for nature lovers! Our place is a home for bats, blue tits, great tits, blackbirds, cuckoos and jays, but also visited by all sorts of animals: lizards, legless lizards and deers and foxes. At night one can see bats flying & catching mosquitos. It has got very own peculiar microclimate - even when it rains it feels nice to be there, but most of the time is good weather. The house is 120m2, ground floor is 70m2, first floor is 50m2. It is NOT hi-tech or luxurious place, but for someone who wants to feel free from worry that will drop an expensive plate or bring in some sand or mud under shoes - it is pure relax. We have a spot for a bonfire outside. There is a big natural sandpit right next to our property. We have a water hose long enough to reach this sandpit - it is perfect for kids to play all day building fortresses, trenches and digging holes or making waterfalls. There are some tools in the shed that are perfect for this kind of fun. A car or pedestrian going past happens every few days. Or not at all. Our Hunters Lodge Las Vegas is not a good place to Perfect Housewifes - people who expect high level of cleanness are exposed to the risk of being disappointed due to impossibility to keep this place squeaky clean - we always miss some cobwebs, some sand on the floor or wooden chips near the wood burners. Sorry for that :) Downstairs there is a room [25m2] which can be used for i.e. small business meetings (conferences). The room is equipped with an on-wall screen [2m x 1,3 m] and a projector [cable HDMI-HDMI supplied]. (see photo gallery)

My wife Justyna and I are very hospitable. We have 4 children, so we know how it is with kids - the house has to be friendly: no white carpets and easy to clean surfaces everywhere. Our passion is travelling, nature and off-road driving. For living we service Land Rovers. Mud, sand and treasures such as "mum, look at this beautiful stone/stick/cone/dead insect/white bones" are pretty normal to us. Therefore all similar souls to ours will appreciate this place. It is on the edge of HUGE complex of forests called Puszcza Notecka. This area is full of small, interesting places and what's the best: you can make your own discoveries! There are lots of II WW trenches everywhere, foundations of old houses, you can even find antlers! There are beautiful lakes nearby, a very good apiary selling fantastic honeys of all sorts (5 km). Historically our place was only 400m from the German border before II WW- you can still find the remains of old border crossing (!). Searching with metal detector is illegal in Poland, but only when you want to do some digging. If you just look for your lost wedding ring it's fine. So, if you loose something valuable - we have a metal detector to lend :)

The nearest neighbour is 450m away from our place and it is a holiday house rarely busy and a farm is 700m away. If you want to buy fresh eggs and/or cows milk it is of course possible- we prepared a map local suppliers for you. The beach is by the lake 4 km away from our place. There is a holiday resort, where you can find high street with shops, some fun facilities for children (air castles, trampolines, etc.), ice-cream, cold beer, pizza, fresh fish. The biggest city nearby is Miedzychód 10 km away from our place. You can find Biedronka and Mila there, open market, church, post office, hospital, hunter's shop and a very good shop selling forest tools (Stihl). The nearest stables Stajnia Zwierzyniec is 10 km away. In Radusz there is a small museum dedicated to local history & nature run by the Forestry Commission. Only 51 km away from our place is the greatest II WW fortification complex in Pniewo (near Międzyrzecz). Fantastic museum and lots of abandoned objects spread around in woods: bunkers, dragon's teeth and rotary bridges. Very good idea for 4x4 vehicle owners!
