Alpine houses in a traditional Spiš village at the foot of the Tatra Mountains, is a place for active people looking for close contact with nature and highland tradition. We always try to make your stay memorable, thus: - we have XC / MTB bikes (Deore equipped), which we gladly rent - free of charge! (check availability), - we have a place for a bonfire, cauldron and big grill, - for tough mans, highlander banya (please book), - evenings for star watchers (we have a 1.5m telescope), - we help in organizing rafting and kayaking trips, - occasionally mountain prelections with a slide shows from expeditions, - joint ski-tours are also available, and we will help beginners to choose and arrange equipment for their first ski tours, - climbing trips (we know a few secret-spots), - night chats about mountains with a guitar accompaniment. We have a unique library of Tatra guidebooks, including forgotten Tatra paths, climbing photo-topos, walls and ridge sketches. A few hundred steps from us, there is truly wild Białka River, which provides exciting rafting and kayak trips. Kozieniec ski resort is just outside the window, and another 5 ski-areas around us.

My own place in Tatras was a long term dream of mine. The sound of springs and fabulous colors of surrounding greenery gives the sense to every day I wake up with birds. I travel a lot, so not always I have possibility to live here, but I am truly Tatras' passionate, and I spend in mountains almost every free time of my live. I am big fan of any outdoor activity, and respect all the people that do it too, regardless of their fitness, level or professionalism. I have climbed in the Pamir Mountains, Tianshan, Karakoram, Alps, Dolomites, mediterranean cliffs and many more wonderful spots, but Tatras have a special place in my heart, it's a second home. After long expeditions I love to come back here to feel this punchy air in my lungs, explore the valleys that are hidden for years from the tourists' eyes. I love to share my passion, whether it is trekking on forgotten path, climbing the long ridges or a granite wall, if it is delicate ice climbing or ski-tours, I am always here to help and advice for everyone who begins their adventure with the mountains.
