Welcome to the Bug River – a place that, quite by accident, made us stay and it’s been almost 20 years now. Perfect for guests from Germany and the Netherlands looking for quiet nature, cycling and river activities This is our escape, but also a balance to the fast pace of everyday life. For years, we’ve been living between two worlds: the busy city life and our peaceful countryside retreat. We are constantly shaping our rural haven and would love to share it with those who, like us, value peace and quiet, and want to feel the rhythm of nature—far from the noise of big cities, even if just for a moment. “Lazy Colony” is located within a protected Natura 2000 area, surrounded by unspoiled nature. We built our home here as our own place to relax, so don’t be surprised if you see us around. The property is spacious—we respect your privacy and give you plenty of space, but we’re always happy to share tips on what to see, where to eat well, and recommend local producers. You will have exclusive access to the entire upper floor (attic) in a separate building. Outside, you can enjoy a wooden terrace with a sun umbrella, relax in a hammock under a birch tree, unwind on sun loungers or in the garden gazebo in the evenings, admire the starry sky, and on cooler days, we invite you to enjoy the sauna. The surrounding forests, vast Bug River meadows, and the river itself encourage active отдых. You can explore the area on foot or by bike, or choose a kayaking trip and follow the winding river, discovering its unique charm along the way.

Mielnik A charming village known for its chalk mine, Castle Hill, and scenic viewpoint tower overlooking the Bug Valley. Drohiczyn A historic town with a remarkable complex of churches representing different denominations, as well as a kayaking museum. Korczew A beautiful palace and park complex, perfect for a relaxing walk surrounded by history. Serpelice A great destination for active отдых: a large rope park, kayaking trips on the Bug River, and even a zip-line crossing over the river.
