In my free time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains—they are my personal sanctuary, a place where I can reflect, relax, and recharge. Just beyond our garden, you’ll find a stunning panoramic view of the Owl Mountains (Góry Sowie). Numerous hiking trails and some of the most beautiful landscapes of the Sudetes are located nearby, including spectacular viewpoints from the observation towers on Wielka Sowa and Kalenica. Within walking distance, you can reach Grodno Castle, Lake Bystrzyckie, and its historic dam. Very close to our property lies the famous Riese Complex, featuring three of its most popular underground sites: Walim, Włodarz, and Osówka. Only a short drive away are Książ Castle, the Palm House, and the spa resorts of Szczawno-Zdrój and Jedlina-Zdrój. In less than an hour, you can visit the remarkable Adršpach Rock City in the Czech Republic, as well as Poland’s own Table Mountains, renowned for their extraordinary rock formations. During winter, ski slopes in nearby Rzeczka provide excellent opportunities for winter sports. We also recommend visiting the charming Market Square in Świdnica and the UNESCO-listed Church of Peace.There is truly no shortage of attractions in the area, so it’s worth planning your time well to make the most of your stay.
