Ruciane Residence is a boutique property set right on the shores of Lake Nidzkie, in the heart of the Great Masurian Lakes. Seven spacious apartments (from 34 to 45 m²) have been designed with attention to detail — soft lighting and subtle gold accents against a dark backdrop. Six of them offer lake views and a private terrace or balcony. Each apartment is fully equipped: a well-appointed kitchen with full dishware and appliances, smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels in natural fabrics. The bedrooms feature comfortable beds with premium mattresses. The bathrooms are styled with a spa-like atmosphere, with spacious walk-in showers. Guests have access to: a lakeside pier, free on-site parking, a garden barbecue, and a well-kept garden with a relaxing spot by the water. A public beach is located just 100 m from the property. Check-in is contactless — we send an individual access code on the day of arrival, so you can arrive at any time. The host remains available by phone throughout your stay. Ruciane-Nida is a Masurian town set among a system of connected lakes and surrounded by the vast forests of Puszcza Piska (the Pisz Forest) — one of the most picturesque corners of the Great Masurian Lakes. An ideal base for those who want to experience Masuria in its quieter, more authentic form. Just outside the property — Lake Nidzkie, one of the longest lakes in Masuria (approx. 23 km), with numerous bays and peaceful spots for kayaking or paddleboarding. Nearby you'll find sailing marinas, water-sport rentals (kayaks, SUPs, paddle boats, motorboats), and the PTTK Wierzba sailing harbor — one of the most photogenic stops along the Masurian sailing route. For walkers and cyclists — marked trails through the Pisz Forest, also perfect for trips with children. From the port in Ruciane-Nida, scheduled boat cruises depart through the Masurian lake system, including to Mikołajki. Within 15–50 minutes by car you'll find: Mikołajki (the sailing capital of Masuria), the Galindia themed village, the Wildlife Park and Tropical Village in Kadzidłowo, the pilgrimage sanctuary in Święta Lipka, and the Boyen Fortress in Giżycko. Local cuisine is built around freshwater fish (vendace, pike-perch, tench), game, pierogi, and traditional Masurian flavours. We especially recommend the restaurants along the waterfront in Ruciane-Nida and in nearby Wierzba — the atmosphere and the view are part of the experience. In the evening, take a walk along the lake or sit by the fire — in Masuria, you can really hear the forest.
