Villa Mare is a comfortable, year-round house in the passive standard, located in the most attractive part of Gdańsk - Sobieszewska Island, almost at its very end, near the mouth of the Vistula River to the sea. It is a wonderful, extremely quiet place, far from the hustle and bustle of the city and industry. The house is a classic French-style city villa, built on a square plan. It has elegant furnishings, natural materials, very bright, high and spacious interiors. It has two floors: * on the ground floor there is: a hall, a living room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining room and a bathroom with a shower * on the first floor there are: bedroom no. 1 with one double bed, bedroom no. 2 with one double bed, bedroom no. 3 with two futon mattresses and a bathroom with a bathtub The rooms are bright and sunny - protection from the sun is provided by linen curtains and electrically adjustable facade blinds. The building is equipped with a heat recovery system with a heat exchanger, which ensures constant exchange and inflow of fresh air and its cooling in summer or heating in winter. The water in the entire building is softened and filtered - it is soft and delicate to the touch and suitable for drinking without the need to boil it. The building has the highest energy standard and very high acoustic insulation. So if you want to listen to the birds, you have to open the windows. The building is located on a fenced area, at the end of an internal dead-end street, which allows children and pets to stay safely on the premises. There is a large terrace at your disposal, with direct exit from the building. On the terrace there are: comfortable garden furniture and a barbecue. The building and terrace are surrounded by a quiet garden divided into a recreational part and a vegetable and fruit part. You can feel free to use what grows in the garden, which are: raspberries, grapes, cherries, apples, tomatoes and others - available depending on the season.

Sobieszewska Island is basically just wonderful nature, peace and quiet: * there are bird reserves on the eastern and western ends, * on the northern side, along the entire sea shore, there is a coastal forest, * the southern side, bordering the Martwa Wisła, is wide farmland, so characteristic of the Żuławy region. In the vicinity of Villa Mare you will find: * Mewia Łacha and Ptasi Raj bird reserves - both are located in the coastal part and are accessible only on foot - a great destination for one of the first walks in the area * the coastal forest, mostly coniferous, is a great place for daily walks or cycling; it smells wonderful at any time of the year, and in autumn it is a source of delicious mushrooms * a ferry crossing over the Vistula, which is both a tourist attraction and a means of transport, by which from May to September you can get to the other side of the river, to the town of Mikoszewo and further towards the Vistula Spit * 100 meters from Villa Mare there is a bicycle path, which you can use to reach Gdańsk or explore Żuławy and the seaside area - it is eagerly used by cycling tourists, as well as amateur and professional cyclists * and many more, which you will probably discover for yourself
