With the passing of time, Anna’s husband, Tadeusz moved in. Soon after their children, Bartosz and Agnieszka inhabited the house at Lokietka. Their childhood was also filled with games with their friends from the area. And so, having lived here for generations, we are part of the local community. We have known our neighbours for years – their parents, their children and new-born grandchildren. The houses have no numbers for us, only the names of the residents. Because we all enjoy being here – in this house, in this neighbourhood, in Sopot – we decided to extend the house and we heartily invite You here!

The house was built in 50ies and restored in 2021 with the use of modern building techniques for hotels and with care for the environment. Highly insulating doors and walls ensure privacy and silence. The place is nice and cool in summer, cosy and warm in winter. Open and welcoming. This is what this house was and is. It was built by Zdzisław - whom we all remember as the cheerful grandfather Zdzisiek - for his wife Janina and three children. The family moved into a new house when Anna Zamorska - present host of the house - was 2 years old. Their happy childhood siblings – Anna and her brothers - spent time with their peers on trips to the seaside, football matches and other games on the empty street.

Neighborhood info

Sopot is a picturesque city with sea and sand, parks and sport facilities, friendly people and delicious local food. It has clean air and tourist attractions, cultural events and a nightlife vibrant with music and dance. This all makes it the perfect holiday destination. Visiting European sea resorts is a great alternative to distant travel. Sopot is a great starting point to explore Poland – visit Gdansk, Gdynia and the Hel Peninsula. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the beach and bathing area. Another 15-minute walk along the shore and you will reach the longest wooden pier on the Baltic Sea. The marina is filled with yachts. On the beach you will find windsurfing and kitesurfing schools and also skimboarding tracks. Sopot is a intimate resort with the famous “Monciak” – the main promenade with the Crooked House, cafes, restaurants and beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, is a must-see when visiting the Tri-City. The Spa House, Southern Park and Gardens with fountains known locally as ‘the inhalation mushrooms’ with mineral spring water – stand as remembrances of pre-war times. There are attractive walking paths along the sea.
