Casa das Janelas com Vista is located in the middle of the Bairro Alto, one of the most emblematic neighbourhoods in Lisbon. The romanticism of the Bairro Alto began around the 15th Century. A quarter filled with great stories, symbolic places and famous characters. It’s the social ‘melting pot’ of Lisbon, the scene of cultural meetings between the most known poets and artists of the early 1920’s and where, today, everybody converges to be part of Lisbon’s soul. Narrow and labyrinthine streets are, every night, lit by a gentle light that charms locals and tourists.

The city’s liveliest suburb is very close and is a great place to find handicraft and signature shops, small bars and venues to hear live Fado.
