I and my wife, we do "everything" on our property, the Chek-in, the Chek-outs, the cleanings, the gardens, the pool, our wines, etc. The name chosen for this mini-company, Estrelícia-Dourada Garcês is a tribute to its owners, especially the father and father-in-law of the managing partners, the master José João Garcês.

Property info

These spaces are inserted in a rural property with a total area of 5050 m2, where each space has its own kitchen, all of them with their own personal and private WC. In the property we practice a subsistence agriculture, mainly the culture and production of the grape varieties of the American and Jackass, where in September, our clients can accompany and participate in the collection and production of the various homemade wines produced on the property. On arrival at our property all our guests are offered with one of our wines, and in each space is placed a bottle so that customers may dislike another type of wine produced by us. We have on the property a space / area with natural herbs where customers can spoon and make their own natural tea. Guests can visit our traditional winery and our Garces museum where they can observe artifacts used and used in the past in the production and confection of wines. We also have an outdoor space, a steakhouse where our guests can enjoy this same open space for some meals. The property is located in an area classified as the heart of Laurisilva.

The property is set in a very quiet and safe area with beautiful views over the mountains and valleys of the Vila de São Vicente, as well as a privileged view over the village itself.
