Our house in the woods is surrounded by Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. This house was originally part of a farmhouse, renovated to be a charm and cosy home in the middle of the forest. With a private garden and access to the swimming pool of the main house here you can spend a peaceful time alone, with friends or family. Halfway between Sintra and Cascais, the location is ideal for those who would like to explore Sintra-Cascais Natural Park (Serra de Sintra) by bike or on foot.
I am Diogo, a nature lover who enjoys sports and adventure and founds peace and quiet in the forest. The beach is my second home. I love to travel and explore new places and cultures. After 8 years living in a very busy city (London) have decided to move back to Portugal to be closer to Nature, friends and family.
Almoçageme is the nearest village. Being halfway between Sintra and Cascais is an advantage for those who would like to visit both places. Nearby is Almoçageme Typical Food Market, Adraga beach, Cape Roca (Western Point of Europe), Peninha Sanctuary and Capuchos Convent. Other regions to explore include Praia Grande (beach), Magoito, Azenhas do Mar and Ericeira. Sintra Village is located 10km away (15 minutes drive), Cascais village 16km away (25 minutes drive) and Guincho beach 12km (20 minutes). To get to Lisbon it takes about 45 minutes by car.
