Surrounded by vineyards, the scenic A Serenada Enoturismo includes a wine cellar, where guests can taste Serra de Grândola wines. It features an outdoor pool and has sweeping views over the natural surroundings and the sea. The modernly decorated rooms all feature some traditional touches, reminding guests of the environment in which they’re inserted. The cozy rooms at the Serenada include a wardrobe, safe, free WiFi and a private bathroom with free toiletries. Some rooms also enjoy panoramic views. A buffet breakfast is served every morning at the dining area with panoramic views and features regional homemade products for all guests. Light meals can be arranged upon request and can be enjoyed by the pool or be packed in picnic baskets. For more dining options, local restaurants are available within a 10-minute drive. On top of Serra de Grândola, the Serenada Enoturismo has a panoramic swimming pool with sun loungers, for guests to sunbathe after a refreshing swim. The pool area has a view of the green areas surrounding the Serenada. The surrounding area is ideal for long hikes or to go cycling with one of the Serenada’s free bicycles. The Serenada includes large terraces and a library for guest usage. Within the property there are new and old vineyards and a wine cellar. Both are a part of the production process of the “Serras de Grândola” wines. Wine tastings can be arranged at the hotel Casa do Monte for both guests and visitors, upon request. It is a 73-minute drive to the Lisbon International Airport. Aberta Nova and Galé beaches are a 15-minute drive away from A Serenada.

I am de grape grower and winemaker of the wines Serras de Grândola, entirely produced at A Serenada which is where my roots are. A Serenada is my refuge. Having made the decision to share it with you, I hope you find at here the same peace that I do, and always will find new reasons to return.

A Serenada has been in my family for 300 years. My father who planted our first vineyard in 1961, from where we still produce our wines Cepas Cinquentenárias. The property enjoys outstanding panoramic views of the Serra da Arrábida, the estuary of the Sado and forest of pine and cork trees. At A Serenada one proposes authenticity. Many of the decorative pieces are familiar memories, as are the culinary recipes of the dishes we serve. Neighborhood info

Part of the secret of A Serenada is its location. At the top of the Grândola mountain and only a few kilometers from the sea, it enjoys of the best of two worlds. The beaches of Aberta Nova, Melides, Carvalhal, Pego and Comporta are wonderful at any time of the year, either in the bathing season or in the winter for long walks. In the surroundings, the village of Grândola, Santiago do Cacém, the mines of Lousal, the ruins of Setóbriga in Troia, are some of the points of interest. To all this we add our partners with whom you can carry out the most diverse activities, horseback riding, surfing lessons, biking trails or fishing trips.
