Lisbon has breathtaking views over the Tejo River, magnificent arquitectural historical monuments, amazing street views over old buildings and neighbourhoods and excellent beaches. It is also one of the trendiest cities in Europe, full of elegant restaurants, bars and clubs, housing a great nightlife. I’m a big fan of portuguese gastronomy, which has a mouth watering rich, intense and diversified flavour. I love travelling the world and meet new people. Over the years, I have lived in England, Scotland, New York and Brazil. The Apartment is located in the historical and cultural neighbourhood of Santa Catarina \ Bica, near the River, Santa Catarina viewpoint and in the heart of old Lisbon. Situated within walking distance of Chiado (8 min.), Bairro Alto (6 min.), Elevador da Bica (3 min.) and tram no. 28 stop (2 min.). You can find all necessary amenities in the neighbourhood like, local shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, bakeries and pastries, ATM machines/Banks, pharmacies, art galleries, clothes shops, churches and museums. Just 2 minutes walking distance from a stop of the emblematic no. 28 tram (in Calçado do Combro), which will take you through a pleasant and enjoyable tour through most of the historical neighbourhoods of Lisbon, via narrow and tortuous streets, passing by Alfama, Lisbon Cathedral (Sé), São Jorge Castle, among others. The Chiado subway station is a mere 8 minutes walking distance, which will take you to/from the airport or giving you access to a wider Lisbon area. The Rossio and Cais do Sodré train stations are 10 minutes away walking, and can take you to the World Heritage Sintra village or to Cascais/Estoril and its famous beaches, on a 25 minutes journey.
