During the colder months, the house can be kept warm by the fireplace and underfloor heating. The house is cooled by a central Carrier heat pump and fan coil system, designed to maintain a stable and comfortable indoor temperature throughout the property rather than producing strong cold airflow from individual split units. The bathroom features under tile heated flooring, heated towel rail and towels.
