Your laundry is fully equipped with an automatic washing machine and dryer, with washing liquid provided . We have two new "Felt" bicycles available for you to explore the village and surrounding areas.

Vinho is one of the many historic villages in the high mountains of Portugal. Ten minutes from the beautiful city of Gouveia with it's rich history and twenty minutes from the city of Seia. There are wonderful country walks, Roman roads and bridges, architectural treasures as well as the exceptional food and wine for which the region has become so well known including the famous Serra da Estrela cheese. The cafe / bar, bakery and mini market are ten meters from your door providing almost everything you need including fresh bread baked right here in the village in wood fired ovens. The exceptional restaurant of Madre de Agua is an easy walk away or ride there on our new " Felt " bicycles. The village swimming pool and bar during the summer months is a five minute walk away as is the stunning 16th century church. The surrounding area has many superb typical restaurants a short drive away and there are Lidl and Intermarche supermarkets within two kilometers. Portugal's only ski resort is a 40 minute drive.
