Apartments SweetHomes were created from a family-owned building located in the heart of the city of Faro. With great care and dedication, we decided to renovate these old apartments and transform them into a rental space designed to welcome guests from all over the world who visit and stay in Faro. From the very beginning, our goal was to create something special. Every detail of the decoration was chosen with heart, love, and soul, to offer a warm, comfortable, and cozy atmosphere. We want our guests to truly feel at home — a real Home Sweet Home. The apartments are located on the first floor of a traditional building and there is no elevator, preserving the original charm of the property. We believe this is part of the authentic experience of staying in the city center. We look forward to welcoming you and hope to provide you with a memorable stay filled with comfort, tranquility, and the feeling of being at home.

SweetHomes is set within a residential building in the heart of Faro, surrounded by local residents and located on a quiet street that offers a sense of privacy and calm — a rare luxury in a city-center setting. Its privileged location allows guests to reach Faro’s most important landmarks and attractions effortlessly on foot. Within just a few minutes, guests can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city while returning to the tranquility of their accommodation. A short walk to the left leads to the Municipal Market (approximately 2 minutes). To the right, guests will find the main shopping street within 5 minutes, followed by the Marina and the historic Old Town in around 7 minutes. The bus station is reachable in approximately 10 minutes, the train station in about 15 minutes, and the ferry and boat connections to the islands are only a 10-minute walk away. For everyday comfort, a Pingo Doce supermarket is conveniently located just 50 meters from the building (1 minute on foot). A carefully selected variety of excellent restaurants, bars, cafés, and coffee shops can also be found within a short 5-minute walk. Guests may also enjoy nearby green spaces such as Jardim da Alameda, located approximately 5 minutes away, as well as several museums within the same walking distance. SweetHomes is particularly appreciated for its harmonious balance between serenity and centrality — offering guests the freedom to explore Faro entirely on foot, combined with the discreet convenience of having essential services just steps from the building.
