Our small-scale Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho with 3 beautiful and comfortable holiday accommodations with a swimmingpool in a mediterranean garden offers the warmth and cosiness of your home and the luxury feeling of a hotel. The holiday houses are all decorated differently. Together with two Belgium designer friends we managed to create three completely different cottages. A Dutch art artist, living and working in the Algarve, has coordinated her beautiful paintings with the colors of the cottages. Each holiday home features air conditioning, underfloor cooling, and underfloor heating. The kitchens are equipped with everything needed for self-catering. Naturally, a dishwasher is included, and there is even a wine fridge! Each bathroom has a unique look but offers the same amenities: a delightful walk-in shower, a toilet, an automatic exhaust fan, a large mirror, and plenty of towels. Portugese lavender-scented shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion create a wonderful wellness experience. Casa Celine even features a handheld bidet spray next to the toilet. Guests particularly appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, the high ceilings of the holiday houses and the large private terraces and garden with a modern seating area. Our Boutique Guesthouse overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and a 4-by-10-meter saltwater pool, all set amidst our Mediterranean garden and the surrounding olive groves and orange trees. In the garden near the pool you find the barbeque. Large bath towels and comfortable bathrobes are ready for your use. Your accommodation will be freshened up during your stay, and your towels will be replaced. If you stay longer than 10 nights, your bed linen will also be changed. Upon arrival, you will find an inviting tapas platter featuring Portuguese delicacies, and a delicious local wine waiting for you in your wine fridge. Let the holiday begin!

Our small-scale, luxury Boutique Guesthouse in Moncarapacho has been officially open for rentals since June 1, 2026. It comprises three cozy, comfortable, luxury and self-catering holiday cottages, each suitable for one or two guests. We are Maarten and Celina, from the Netherlands, now retired and we take great pleasure in ensuring our guests have everything they need for a wonderful holiday. We look forward to ensuring you have a relaxing stay in our peaceful, rural setting. As a guest of our boutique guesthouse, we love to offer you that little something extra. Maarten has created a digital guide containing all kinds of information about the local area. You will receive this before your arrival, so you can check out what there is to do in the area while you are still at home. Anticipatory excitement! Upon arrival, you will find a delightful tapas platter featuring Portuguese treats, and a delicious local wine waiting for you in your mini wine fridge. Large bath towels and comfortable bathrobes are provided for your use. Your room will be freshened up during your stay, and your towels will be replaced. We believe it is important for our guests to be able to count on us in an emergency. Upon arrival, you will find an iMergencies card waiting for you with their phone number. In the event of an accident or illness, our guests are assured of assistance from the support organization iMergencies. You simply need to call them, and they will ensure that, even in a stressful situation, you receive help (usually) in your own language. They will contact agencies such as roadside assistance, the police, ambulance, the fire department on your behalf (in Portuguese). That provides peace of mind during your stay! We enjoy the company of the guests staying at our guesthouse. We live in Casa Celine from October through April. However, during the summer months, we rent out all three cottages—Casa Pauline, Casa Florine, and Casa Celine. Bem vindo or be welcome!

Read a good book in our Mediterranean garden of your holiday home, surrounded by palm trees and the sound of birdsong, and simply relax and unwind completely. Our guests appreciate the fact that our guesthouse is centrally located. You can quickly reach the sea, as well as the various villages and towns. 8 kilometers from our Boutique Guesthouse lies the authentic fishing village of Fuseta, situated on the Atlantic coast. It offers a stunning view of the Ria Formosa, a nature reserve stretching from Faro to the Spanish border. If you are lucky, you might spot dolphins, flamingos, and many other bird species. There is a beautiful beach with sun loungers, and at the Borda d’Agua beach bar, you can enjoy drinks, lunch, and ofcourse ice cream all day long. You can literally drive right up to this beach, convenient for families with small children and for the elderly. It is also the go-to spot for seafood lovers to order fresh fish straight off the barbecue. Fuseta boasts a wide variety of restaurants—as do nearby towns like Olhão and Tavira, Faro. Offering everything from vegetarian options, tapas, Italian, Indian to the Portuguese prato do dia (dish of the day). Plus, the prices for food and wine here are still very reasonable! Enjoy the different atmosphere at every islands. Some of them people live on the islands and at others are nice restaurants with loungers and ofcourse the waves of the Atlantic ocean! Hiking, birdwatching, golfing, mountain biking, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, boating, yoga, swimming, wine tasting, there is a wide range of activities to enjoy. There are markets everywhere and festivals, mostly in summer time. When you book at our place you receive a digital link with all the options in the area you can visit.
