Bragança Apartments are three apartments in the historic centre of Bragança, next to Praça Camões, the old Market Square. Location is the main advantage — everything is within walking distance: the Castle, the medieval citadel, Domus Municipalis, Santa Maria Church, restaurants and local shops. The apartments were renovated with practical comfort and a thoughtful design, the most recent in 2025. They offer a privileged view of Bragança Castle, one of the best-preserved citadels in Portugal. This is independent accommodation with its own entrance and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Ideal for those who want to explore Bragança and the Trás-os-Montes region at their own pace, with the freedom of a home and the location of a city-centre hotel. Check-in is arranged directly — we provide all the details in advance so your arrival is simple. Note: part of the A. Montesinho group, a family-run tourism project in the region since the 1970s. The same care and attention, in the heart of the city.

The Bragança apartments are our urban gateway to the region: the same hospitality, in the city centre. We like to keep things simple. Before arrival, we send all the information you need. During your stay, we are available to suggest where to eat, what to visit, or how to plan a trip to Montesinho Natural Park — just 15 minutes away. Interests: Trás-os-Montes gastronomy, Bragança history, Montesinho Natural Park, and the quiet rhythm of northern Portugal's interior.

The apartments are in the heart of Bragança, next to Praça Camões. Everything is within walking distance. 5-minute walk: Bragança Castle and medieval citadel, Domus Municipalis (one of the rare examples of Romanesque civic architecture on the Iberian Peninsula), Santa Maria Church, the old Bragança Cathedral, and the Polis riverside area. In the centre: Graça Morais Contemporary Art Centre, Abade de Baçal Museum, Science Centre (Centro de Ciência Viva), traditional Trás-os-Montes restaurants and local shops. To explore the region: Montesinho Natural Park starts 15 minutes away by car, with trails, villages and mountain landscapes. Rio de Onor (a communal village on the Spanish border, one of Portugal's 7 Wonders — Villages) is 30 minutes away. Puebla de Sanabria on the Spanish side, about 40 minutes. For those who want to combine city and nature, this is the ideal starting point.
