Welcome to our 19th Century Old Chalet in the Heart of Old Town Sintra Valley. We will lodge you in this sunny, bright house, with a terrace and garden overlooking the greenery, the palaces and the beautiful Valley. Inside the property, across the main house there is a studio with its own terrace and gorgeous views, for 2 people. In total, we can lodge up to 14 people plus 3 babies. This is our Family Holiday Home that we love and are now happy to open it to guests. We are located in the very heart of Sintra Old Town Valley right in front of the amazing and unmissable Regaleira Palace. If you love to walk, there are many wonderful walking trails everywhere in Sintra. Please mind that Sintra is a mountain and you will always be going up and down. Our property stands 600 meters down from the very heart of Old Town Sintra, the Palace Square, but it is a steep walk up. You can drive up, though, it is only 1 minute. Pets are welcome. Please mind that this is an old and imperfect, though well maintained, country house. We will always have squeaky floors and wood windows, and keep the charm of old times. CELEBRATIONS WITH NON-STAYING GUESTS For an extra fee of 1500,00 euros plus VAT, the Babaji garden is prepared for small events up to 25 people (we may add one table for up to 30 people as a maximum), ideal for micro-weddings and baptisms, family and friends celebrations, birthdays, etc– ideally luncheons or tea-parties up to late afternoon/early evening, as the weather in Sintra is not usually suitable for outside dinner parties. Please also be so kind as to mind that we can only accept celebrations in the garden from May 1st until September 30th. This price includes the garden setting with 3 tables seating 24 people comfortably, one extra table for another 6 people, 2 buffet tables and 1 barbecue area, chairs and table towels.

We have this small family estate in Sintra where we have spent our holidays for the past decades. We love sharing our beautiful house and its very special atmosphere with guests from all over the world. All the family have travelled extensively and we love receiving people from other cultures, so you will be most welcome to our Little Paradise!

This is Sintra - land of the Fairy Tales! We are located in the very heart of Sintra Old Town Valley right in front of the amazing and unmissable Regaleira Palace. You should also visit the National Palace, 600 meters up from our house, the Pena Palace and Park and the Moorish Castle on the top of the mountain, and a bit further away - 7 km - some of the most beautiful gardens in Europe, the Monserrate Gardens and Palace. But there is much more to see: the misterious Capuchos Convent in the middle of the Sintra Forest, the Countess of Elba Chalet, the Peninha Convent, the Cabo da Roca, continental Europe most western point, the amazing beaches of Adraga and Praia Grande (one of the best in the world for Surf and Body board) the Holy-Spirit village of Penedo, Almoçageme and Colares. To truly enjoy Sintra and all its attractions it is ideal to stay for one week.
