Cantinho do Mel is a recently renovated space on the top floor of our private house. The studio on the top floor (only by stairs), welcoming and prepared to exclusively receive our guests, consists of 2 bedrooms (each with a double bed and a single bed), 2 bathrooms (outside the bedrooms) and a living room equipped with a TV, where we also have a sofa bed and a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kettle (no stove or oven). You can also book only one double room. Within 1 km you can find several local restaurants, bakeries and pastry shops.

The property is located at 8 km from Castro Daire and 30 km from Viseu. In the surroundings you will find several river beaches (Rio Paiva), the nearest one at less than 5 minutes by car; a public swimming pool and the thermal bath of Termas do Carvalhal at about 7 minutes by car. Nearby you can also visit Serra do Montemuro in the fantastic area of "Montanhas Mágicas". Within less than an hour of journey you can visit the rest of "Montanhas Mágicas" and some tipical villages like Drave and Aldeia da Pena. The region is great for outdoor activities. There are several Pedestrian Routes and some points of archaeological and scenic interest nearby. We also provide bike rental for the more adventurous.
