We hope you have a pleasant stay at our home, we will do everything for you to have a comfortable stay, so you can enjoy all the landscapes that our Island has to offer. Our house has a terrace where you can spend a good time and enjoy the last rays of sunshine while you appreciate the gorgeous view to the Island in front of us, the mountain of Pico. In our winter garden you can read a book while you spend some silent time, if you wish. During day time you will certainly be delighted by the beautiful and unique landscapes of the “fajãs”, the lagoons, the volcanic peaks that shapes a green never ending mountain range, you can also see our so called “happy cows” who graze freely in green pastures all year around. For this, and so much more to enjoy, you will love your stay with us. License nº 2796/RRAL

Neighborhood info

We are located right in the heart of “Vila das Velas”. Just around the corner, within a few minutes’ walk is the tourist information center, several rent-a-car, restaurants, coffees, and pasteries for breakfast. The ferry boat is 5 min away from a walking distance, where you can board to visit the other two islands that compose the “triangle islands”, Pico and Faial. The wonderful natural volcanic pools are just 2 minutes away on foot. You can also take a stroll by the seashore, visit the natural volcanic stone arch, the historic center has one of the most beautiful bandstands of the country, or you can just relax and take a drink with a view to the Atlantic Ocean. If you are a little more adventurous you can always do a lot of activities that our natural island has to offer: hiking trails, canyoning, snorkelling, sailing and a lot more! If you are interested in our cultural heritage you can visit the municipal museum “Casa Museu Cunha da Silveir a” and the church’s sacred art museum, again within a distance of 50 meters. Both are really worth the visit. Well, the rest is for you to discover. All we can say is: Welcome and enjoy your stay!
