The house is located in Gerês National Park, one of the most beautiful places Portugal has to offer, with green sceneries and lots of outdoor activities to do. The house is fully equipped with kitchenette, living room, bedroom and bathroom. TV and board games are available, wood for heating is provided if it gets cold. Explore Gerês by foot or car, see the lagoons (one is roughly 100m from the house by foot), do canoeing at the nearby river, or visit nearby Spain. Hope to see you soon!
I like to travel, inside and outside Portugal, and now I wish to give the experience of Gerês to whom it might interest, as it is one of the natural wonders of Portugal. The "Cantinho Redondo" (Round Corner) is a cozy, restored house, great to explore Gerês, or relaxing in the nearby lagoons.
Entre Ambos-os-Rios is inside "Peneda-Gerês Natural Park" and is great for walks in the nature, visiting waterfalls, rivers and lagoons. Visiting the small villages around and trying out the local produce are also very good ways of passing the time! It has a lagoon roughly 100m from the house and the camping park nearby has activities for everyone: canoeing, sightseeing tours on horseback, walking tours, etc. The restaurants nearby have great food, in good quantities at a reasonable price.
