Casa Basilio is an upscale detached 230m2 villa built as one of the oldest buildings in town in 1965 located just 500m from the beach of Costa da Caparica with a pool and garden perfect for retreats, and holidays with family and friends. All rooms are equipped with air condition and the small "kids" room with ventilators.
We are a couple renting out our house if we're not in the country and travelling. We recently renovated the whole house and facilities including a new heating and warm water system with modern sustainable technologies. So from now on we'll heat water with solar and produce our own electricity for the heat pump with photovoltaic panels on the roof. Your stay with us will be around 60% energy self-sufficient. A big step towards a more sustainable world. So please take care of our home :)
Costa da Caparica is a small town considered as outskirts of Lisbon town. Only 20min from Lisbon airport. From and to Lisbon city center it’s also just 20min by car. In Costa you’ll find all needed infrastructure for your stay such as supermarkets, restaurants, beaches, sport places in walking distance. So there is no need for a car if you don’t want. Those who are into surf have the best swell in front of the door. Those who still want to learn it can book classes with plenty of surfschools just 5min by feet from Casa Basilio.
