A house within a Farm. This house has a country-side feeling. Our cool and comfortable Farmhouse is located in the Monchique Mountains. With free parking space, relax and enjoy your time in the Algarve's best kept secret! WiFi Available!
I am from Monchique and love to travel and to meet new people from different places and countries.
The village of Monchique is located in a valley between the mountains of Foia and Picota. The village is about 10 minutes away driving and is where you have the main shops, restaurants and supermarkets. There is a coffee shop about 5 minutes walking from the house which is great for a nice espresso! The house is located in the slope of Picota peak which is 774m high above the sea level and the 2nd highest mountain of Monchique. Picota peak is only a 7-10 minutes drive from the house! Once you get to the top of the mountain you get to see views of the Algarve and in clear days you can even see the West Portuguese Coast! The nearest beach is about 35 minutes away by car which is in Portimão. By renting this place in Monchique you get the best of the two worlds - You are in a quiet area in the mountain where you can enjoy nature at its best and you are also only 35 minutes away by car from the city of Portimão where you have lovely beaches to go to.
