Property info

Casa Carneirinho is a treasure chest of discoveries for all members of the family, with an excellent location along the oceanfront and with mountain views. She’s a grand old lady, built in 1930, with many little nooks and alcoves to explore. There are antique and retro pieces to enjoy, and even an art room for creatives young and old! In addition to the 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, there are various seating areas around the home and a beautiful garden for outdoor meals, as well as a bbq area.

Neighborhood info

The house is situated in a small traditional fishing village in the west of the Island. Locals refer to the east end of the village as Porto; because of the small harbour used by local fisherman. The west end of the village is known as Ribeira, official name Ribeira da Galinhas. This is where the famous Bar da Pedra is situated, and where locals and tourists alike gather to watch the sunset. The village is easily walkable with one main road and pedestrian alley connecting the west and east ends of the village. We recommend hiring a car or booking day tours if you want to explore the rest of the island.
