It is a property composed of three houses that is located in a rural area 6km from the center of Guimarães. Casa da Benfeitoria is an old construction whose year of construction is not known. Being the first records from 1944, it was bought in 2010 by us, the current owners and hosts. Acquired completely in ruins, with the intention of restoring it by our own hands and transforming it into a set of three lodgings of rustic, country and sustainable style, keeping the balance between the old and the modern where our guests would feel comfortable and in harmony with the nature that surrounds them. The three lodgings have been carefully restored with love and care, all of them rustic in style, but with very different decoration. Each has its own personality and character acquired in a certain way by the handmade furniture. Having oriented our lodgings for couples and thinking always of your privacy, each lodging has a private entrance and garden with barbecue and dining area and a maximum capacity of 2 people or 2 people with children up to 2 years old. Inserted in a rural environment, at Casa da Benfeitoria we wanted to work our gardens in order to transform them into the perfect refuge for lovers of nature and tranquility to feel at ease. Here, what moves and inspires us is to see the satisfaction on the faces of those we receive, as we enjoy our work, which for us is a hobby. Set in a rural area 5Km from Guimarães, a World Heritage city, Casa da Benfeitoria is an accommodation with swimming pool, jacuzzi and large gardens, which make it the ideal place to disconnect after a day of adventures discovering the north of Portugal. We are located in Tabuadelo a small village in the municipality of Guimarães where life seems to go a little slower.
