Casa da Ria is built in Torreira, overlooking Ria de Aveiro. The house was designed by the architect João Carreira, of the School of Architecture of Porto, disciple of Siza Vieira (the most awarded portuguese architect) and Eduardo Souto Moura (Pritzker Prize 2011). The house uses neutral colors and sand substitute materials, replicating the sandy nature of the soil. The entire leisure area, pool and bedrooms are facing the magnicent view of Ria de Aveiro with the small boats "bateiras", resembling an illustrated postcard of this unique beauty.
Convido-o/a a conhecer a Casa da Ria e, a partir dela, descobrir a Ria de Aveiro, o Norte e o Centro de Portugal, tão cheios de belezas naturais e tão perto da praia, do mar, da serra e das cidades de Aveiro e do Porto. Sou uma admiradora desta região do Litoral Centro, onde nasci, e da Ria de Aveiro, em especial. Esta Casa e a Torreira são o meu porto de abrigo. Fico muito feliz quando recebo as famílias e os grupos de amigos e percebo, mal entram, que ficam surpreendidos com a sobriedade arquitectónica, a decoração simples e bonita e rendidos à energia especial desta casa cheia de luz. A Casa da Ria não é só para usufruir no Verão, ela é confortável e acolhedora em qualquer época do ano. Fico à espera de o/a receber. Não demore. Regina
Bastante tranquila. A 5 minutos a pé da praia fluvial do Monte Branco e a 15 minutos da praia marítima. Restaurantes, padarias e minimercados à mesma distância. Farmácia a 10 minutos a pé.
