## The space The Casa da Torre is a traditional familiar portuguese house remaining in the same family for several generations. Its origins date back to the medieval age later rebuilt in the 18th century. Surrounded by amazing green fields where you can enjoy a relaxing tranquility. You can find an ancient threshing floor and a big and gorgeous granary traditional of Minho region. At harvest time, when it was time to peel the maize cobs, the whole community would join in and there was always a lot of singing and dancing. Who finds a dark cob (king cob) needs to embrace all the others in the group. Inside of the house, a sophisticated and cosy comfort with an intimate atmosphere to make you feel at home! The salt swimming-pool is exclusive for you! The Casa da Torre is the ideal place to relax and have unforgettable moments with Family and Friends! A warm and genuine welcome awaits you! ## Guest access The Casa da Torre has a privileged location in the Minho region. The cities of Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Vila Real and the beaches are located less than one hour by highway. ## Guest interaction I live close by and am happy to help whenever I'm around, but when I'm not, there is a 24/7 on the phone concierge service that can provide you assistance any time of the day. ## Other things to note There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in the property.
