Built between the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, Chouselas takes shape in a palatial style, influenced by the Brazilian architectural style, which is characterized by the ornamentation with organic forms.

Arithmetically located between the city and the mountain - just 15 km from Braga (3rd largest city in Portugal) and the same 15km from the Gerês Natural Park (recently considered the 4th most beautiful Natural Park in Europe) - from Chouselas new routes begin and they all intersect before its eyes: the "Orange Route", the "Wine Route" and the "Linen Route", a unique scenario that will always be accompanied by love and friendliness of its people.
