Jardim do Mar is a civil parish in the western part of the municipality of Calheta in the Portuguese island of Madeira. The population in 2011 was 204, in an area of 0.74 km².It is approximately 3 kilometres northwest of Calheta.There is some walks that can be done close by, the walk from Jardim do Mar to Prazeres and then to Paul do Mar and back TO Jardim do Mar, Levada Nova in Prazeres, Rabaçal the "25 FOUNTAINS", if you like the beach, you can enjoy Calheta Beach.The beach offers numerous support structures that include changing rooms, toilets (including accessible toilets), first aid room, bars, restaurants and parking. Access to Calheta Beach is free of charge. Alot to see and enjoy on the surronding area of Jardim do Mar.
