Property info

The "Casa do Porco" is a farmhouse, centenary, built in schist stone and wood by the Douro River. It has a patio and a garden with fruit and olive trees, a vegetable garden and farm animals. The rooms are also made of shale stone and wood, have private bathroom and balcony with garden views. Our motto is “no hi-tech, no TV” We have more rooms available (see Airbnb hosting)

It is a predominantly residential area, with detached houses and small buildings, surrounded by nature and overlooking the rural landscape. The surroundings include green spaces, gardens, and vegetable plots, typical of a region with a strong agricultural tradition, and are close to the Douro River and the popular Melres river beach.
