I am just the person who will give you all the support you need during the management of the reservation and until you get home. The "true" host will be my father-in-law José Dias and his relatives, who know the village very well and will welcome you at the lodge upon check-in. You can rest assured that you will be very well received ... Welcome!

Property info

This property has a strong emotional connection with my mother-in-law "Geninha", because it was here that she spent her childhood and part of her youth. When life took her away from this isolated village in the deep interior of Portugal, there was always the nostalgia and the desire to do something for her native village. Then came the possibility of fully recovering this old house, bringing it to modern standards of comfort, amenities and decor. We hope you enjoy it!

Neighborhood info

If you are looking for peace and tranquility in communion with nature, this is the right place! You can stroll along the mountain range on identified and signposted tracks, or simply rest by the stream that gives this house its name. This village is quite isolated and only has a cafe / grocery store, to provide the most basic amenities. The main asset of this site is the proximity to the nature of mountain and river in its purest state. We have Wi-FI internet connection in the house and limited phone signal in the village, so prepare yourself to be off-line for some periods of the day :)...
