The guesthouse is run hands-on by family, each with a key role in making your stay smooth and enjoyable. Nathan is your main point of contact on-site, helping with guest support, day-to-day operations and local recommendations. Corina, Tim, Luis and Cristina take care of preparing rooms and shared spaces to a high standard, ensuring everything is clean, comfortable and ready for each arrival. Miguel, part of our extended family, also supports the guesthouse when needed and helps with translations, making communication easier for our international guests. We genuinely enjoy meeting travellers from around the world and sharing our local knowledge of Madeira, especially the best hiking routes, viewpoints, and authentic places to eat. Casa Os Manos is located in one of the most peaceful and scenic areas of Santana, surrounded by Madeira’s dramatic mountains and untouched nature.
