With excellent sun exposure throughout the day, it is surrounded by mountains, forests, and fresh air - an inviting place to unwind and reconnect with nature after a day outdoors. Ideal for couples, small families, and nature lovers, with hiking and biking trails at the doorstep, horse riding nearby, and tree-top parcours to challenge little ones.
We’ve spent many of our weekends in the Peneda Gerês National Park and love sharing everything that makes this region so special. Throughout the seasons, we’re happy to recommend scenic trails, beautiful spots, and the best activities to help you make the most of your stay at Casa Sulfato.
Nested in Campo do Gerês, right by the Vilarinho da Furna dam and the magical Mata da Albergaria forest, our little house makes the perfect base camp for couples and small families. From easy walks with children to biking, horse riding or climbing, adventure begins at the doorstep. Explore the countless trails and guided tours, then return to a cozy retreat where everyone can rest, recharge and share the day’s stories.
