Despite being in the city centre this is a very quiet place. You will find a local collection of grocery stores, coffee shops, supermarkets, gyms, rent-a-cars, ATMs, laundries as well as restaurants to suit most tastes. You can find all these spots identified in the PintheWorld app in the Casa Viriato’s iPad. The flat is super central being a fantastic transport link. It is 120 meters’ way from Picoas subway station and several Bus stops to Lisbon’s main tourist attractions. From the apartment to Praça Marquês do Pombal it is a 3 minute’s walk. We recommend that you simply walk to Lisbon’s historic neighbourhoods like Rossio, Bairro Alto, Alfama, Castelo, etc. You can go through the beautiful Avenida da Liberdade, a 90-meter-wide boulevard, 1100 m long, with ten lanes divided by pedestrian pavements decorated with gardens. If you are in a shopping mood, it is famous for hosting numerous luxury brands like Christian Dior, Chanel, Versace, Gucci, Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent, Michael Kors, Stella McCartney, Christian Louboutin, etc. Please refer to the PintheWorld app in Casa Viriato’s iPad for a list of the main Lisbon attractions and must see places.
