The "Casas da Horta" are located in a 150-hectare private property. Both houses can be rented separately or together. This unique place is perfect for a stay with family or friends – you’ll have privacy and plenty of space for some peaceful, memorable holidays. The beautiful natural setting invites you to let go of all your stress and allow time to gain a new dimension. A short 8 km away enjoy the riverside town of Alcácer do Sal with its famous gastronomic offer, and be sure not to miss the Comporta area (20-min drive) and its world-famous beaches. Each house has 2 suites, 1 guest toilet, open space kitchen + dining area + living area (sofa-bed available), fireplace, swimming-pool, and an outdoor dining/lounge area. Our horses and donkey (wild animals but in a fenced area) love to be treated by our guests with carrots and lots of patting. Bicycles are also available (free of charge). We have 3 medium-sized (very friendly) dogs. As property owners live on-site they are available for any assistance needed. Rentals in high season have a minimum stay of 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday).
With a hotel management degree and the love of hosting people from all over the world, my top priority is to guarantee you will have the best relaxing and memorable time. As we live on-site (don't worry, we value privacy!) we are always available for anything you might need. We are always eager to share possible activities and we promise we won't be shy in sharing all the gastronomic secrets we have gathered over the years! If you have any inquiries or additional requests prior to your booking, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are a nature-lover be sure to properly explore our property. Our horses and donkey love a good visit (and carrots!), our (very friendly) dogs are always up for a good walk and the vegetables in our garden are awaiting your culinary experiences! The small river-front city of Alcácer do Sal (8km away) is worth a visit as well as the world-famous beaches of Comporta (23km away) and Comporta's hippie-chic chilled vibe is the cherry on top of the cake!
