Centrally located in the Eastern Algarve, you can discover not only the Algarve, the Alentejo, but also the south of Spain. Whether you are a beachcomber or an adventurous nature lover, whether you like the gastronomic simplicity of the region or whether you prefer the hustle and bustle of a city centre... it is all within reach here.

Hi, we are Inge & Derek. Together with our daughters Lisa & Jill, we moved from the densely populated Flanders to the Algarve to enjoy the authenticity and openness that still exists here. With more than 30 years of hospitality experience, and several holidays in this region, we know how to welcome you professionally, yet personally and have tried to improve the shortcomings we once encountered.

Casinha Secreta is located in the small streets of the authentic fishing village Santa Luzia. It is only a 1-minute walk to the boulevard with numerous typical restaurants and a view of the beautiful nature reserve "Ria Formosa". In the morning enjoy the beautiful sunrise, the mooring of the fishing boats and enjoy a delicious coffee on one of the many terraces. Also the accessibility to the beautiful beaches is unique. The beach "Praia do Barril" is accessible with a little train (but you can also go on foot). The beach "Praia da Terra Estreita" is accessible with a ferry that leaves every 15 minutes during the high season. From here you can also practice various water sports.
