IMPORTANT - Restricted access Street, the best access is by Costa do Castelo nearby Teatro Taborda. Placed on S. Jorge Castle northern Hill, Castello building stands just at the city heart between the Castle Walls and Mouraria neighbourhood. Enter at Costa do Castelo road heading to Teatro Taborda, a few steps ahead you'll find a big stairwell with 77 steps (escadinhas) with a great view, that's us!
