Mountain Chalet by Lavibes is a peaceful house surrounded by nature and mountain views. This modern chalet combines wood details with bright, open spaces. Enjoy your morning coffee on the terrace, breathe the fresh mountain air, and relax in the peaceful atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring the north of Madeira, with many famous levada walks, hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic viewpoints nearby. The house is located 7 minutes up an unpaved road from the main highway. In exchange for this short drive, you'll arrive in the last village on the slope and enjoy true peace and quiet. The nearest supermarket and a bakery is just 7 minutes away by car. The chalet is surrounded by nature, and a few friendly local cats occasionally visit the outdoor areas. They are free to come and go and are simply part of life in the Madeiran countryside. If you enjoy their company, you're welcome to say hello or offer them some of the cat food we keep at the chalet. If you'd rather not interact with them, simply ignore them and they'll continue on their way. If you have a cat allergy, please keep this in mind when booking.

I’m an interior designer and I love not only creating beautiful spaces but also hosting guests in our cozy mountain home. This place is very special to us, and we hope you’ll feel its warmth too.
The chalet is located in the center of Madeira Island, with privileged access to the most beautiful levadas. It is just 5 minutes from Levada do Rodrigues and 20 minutes from Paul da Serra, where you can access the most stunning levadas of Madeira.
